Hello everybody! Daytona is getting closer and closer. So whose all making the trip to the 500 this year? Me and my wife are planning on a trip to Orlando the week before and ending the vacation by going to the Daytona 500 for the first time. Can't get here fast enough!!

I would love to be able to go, but I just can't justify those prices... My son and I could go to Martinsville, Darlington, Bristol and maybe Charlotte for the price of Dayton 500 tickets...

Hey hey, we'll be there sam4. And yes, Daytona tickets are really getting ridiculous. I don't see many in the future without corporate help. But we make a vaca out of it to. We plan on getting there Friday the 12th. (I think it is) hitting the unlimited race saturday. Sunday thru Tuesday down at Fort Myers visiting the Mom-in-law. Back at the track Wednesday. We're camping in Geico west, section c. Right outside turns 1 & 2.
Just sent in an email for Kevin's meet & greet. Find out in the next couple of days of we get it. Can't wait is right, but only 6 more Saturdays till race time again.

A little rain came through this early evening. Practices will put some more rubber down before the duels.
I believe Kevin will try for a win. Moving up through the field is not as easy as it was in years past, so a good starting spot to stay up front all race will help, and so will a good pit selection for that last stop.
