I too, am shocked, upset & in disbelief. But just because he is changing manufacturers, will not change my opinion of my favorite driver. I don't like that he is changing to Ford, but we have to go with our "guy". One thing about this this deal is it will cut down on my purchases of apparel. I can't be sporting a Ford logo while driving around in my Chevys. I have been a Chevy driver for 40 years & that also will not change!!

I'd be real curious to get their thoughts on this.

I did see Rodney post a few replies on his instagram post from last night. One person said enjoy the wins while you can and his reply was just wait and see. I have to imagine Rodney is excited to be able to build his own chassis, etc. I really don't think anyone at the company is upset that there is going to be a huge influx of money. Its also generally good for the sport. SHR is going to be adding a ton of employees because of the chassis building decision. Its always good when a company expands like that. Also - I can imagine KH driving for Penske in Xfinity if he still has a desire to. Hunt Bros Pizza and Bad Boy Buggies both came to JRM because of KH. He's built himself into a great brand that sponsors have been loyal to. I can't see them not following him to another Xfinity team. |

I am a Kevin Harvick fan not a Chevy fan in Nascar and will always be. I really don't care what he drives in the sport as all the cars are pretty much the same anyway. Now in life I own an Impala and will stay with GM. I have owned a couple of Fords before as well as a couple of Plymouths but always came back to Chevys and I will stay with them.

Well after listening to Sirius xm this morning, they had the GM of Hendricks on there talking about if somethings has changed due to the decision of switching to ford. They will still be supplied engines and chassis but I think the shared information will be over. IT will be fine. I really don't understand why people are upset it is crazy. This is a driver driven sport. I am a Harvick fan doesn't matter what he is driving. I will always support him and his teams.

The last paragraph in that article is interesting,I wonder if Danica really did find out when everyone else did? Did they keep it from the drivers? Maybe this is how they kept it a secret in todays world of nascar? Really would like to know Harvicks ohnest opinion. Thanks for posting it Greg! |

Nothings been said by either about this deal that I have seen. I will says this, when and if we hear from them, it'll be brought up this coming weekend. The media will be all over this. And Kevin and Rodney will speak accordingly. "We love Chevy and our current relationship with hendricks, and look forward to Ford next year". Unfortunately even if either one of them dislikes this move, they WILL NOT speak of it in public. Does anyone think 35 of 40 drivers actually like racing in packs at Daytona or Dega where passing and winning is luck, I personally doubt it. But nascrap would back door (stab) them if they say more than Kevin did after the 500. During after race interview, he said he couldn't wait for Atlanta to do some real racing. |

Years ago, halfway through the season when KB was leaving, they didn't even allow him into the Monday morning company drivers meetings. |

My only hope is that Kasey Kahne gets booted from his ride early, and Kevin moves the the #5 for Hendrick next year. If not, then it's time for the to either stop watching, or pull for Larson or Elliott. I love Kevin, but I love Chevrolet more. Several members of my family have worked for GM for most of their careers, and my family has never owned anything but a GM product. I've been very loyal to them over the years. You all can scold me all you want, personally, I really don't care. I'm brand loyal, and will continue to be. That's my opinion and feelings, and I'm entitled to them, just as it is the same for you all.
