Chassis Information - Chassis No. 841: Kevin Harvick will pilot the No. 4 Jimmy John’s Chevrolet SS built on Chassis No. 4-841 in the Good Sam 500k NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race Sunday at Phoenix International Raceway. Built in 2014, Chassis No. 4-841 served as an unused backup for 19 races that season and never saw racing action of any kind. Chassis No. 4-841 finally made its Sprint Cup debut last March at Phoenix, where it scored a dominant win from the pole and led 224 laps to score Harvick’s second win of 2015. In its second appearance of 2015, it led two laps and finished second in April at Richmond (Va.) International Raceway. It started fifth, led 39 laps and finished second at Pocono (Pa.) Raceway in June. It started sixth, led 75 laps and finished third at Indianapolis Motor Speedway in July. At Chicagoland Speedway in September, Harvick started first, led 10 laps and finished 42nd after cutting a tire. At Phoenix in November, Harvick started eighth and dominated the race by leading 143 of 219 laps before finishing second when the race was called due to rain following a pit stop. Looks like we're bringing a bad ass to Phoenix this weekend! Good luck 4 team! www.kevinharvick.com/news/kevin-harvick-no.-4-jimmy-johns-chevrolet-event-preview-phoenix1

I find it interesting they're using chassis from two years ago still - I mean it's hard to argue with the results but did they not build any new ones?

I do remember Rodney saying that maybe they showed their hand a little too much the first half of last year leading up to the chase so maybe they are saving their best stuff for a little later? I can't remember where I read that but he did say something along those lines!

Top of the board in final cup practice. Fastest 5 lap average.
Still has work to do on the car it sounds like.
