I was thinking about trying camping in the infield for Allstar race weekend. Anybody done this before? I'm worried about actually seeing the track from the infield, as we don't have an RV, just my truck and a tent. Is there a specific section that is better? Are there a lot of annoying drunks? lol Thanks for any help

I haven't been infield at Charlotte, but a few other tracks. Here's my input. Drunks are only annoying when they drink! lol. Most tracks, even standing on top of an RV, is limited viewing. However, most infield camping for tents has access up to the fence, wall, or a line they put out for you to walk to and pitch a couple of chairs. Hence this viewing is of course only as the cars go by. But the infield experience alone is a pretty good time. I enjoy it. Good luck.

Drunks suck and people seem to party till the wee hours of the morning, but it will not be very packed all star weekend and ass for visibility you still have the giant back stretch tv that you can see from anywhere. So its likley not too bad
