I'm guessing you've missed the past 3-4 weeks? You are guessing wrong. Bristol, Richmond, and Kansas were all boring races up until the end. Talladega was Talladega and mostly a snoozefest. Dover was the ONLY race that improved over its norm. So, AGAIN, boy have they screwed the racing over the past couple of years. Talladega was a snoozefest? Are you kidding me? Not sure which Bristol and Richmond races you were watching either. Kansas and Coke 600 have really been the only snoozefest races far. I'm sure though, much like many on here, you can't see past any race where Kevin doesn't win and appreciate the quality of racing that has been produced this year.

The Bristol and Richmond races I watched were horrible - the only interest in Bristol was who was going to blow a tire next. And, unless you like simply waiting for the big wreck, then Talladega, as usual, was a snoozefest. But, clearly you have no clue what is good racing and what isn't...so feel free to continue your delusional existence.

You're making some fairly asinine assumptions there yourself, keyboard warrior. I don't like seeing the big one at Talladega, but I love all of the intense action in between. If you don't find that exciting, you don't have a pulse. As far as Bristol, the only ones having tire issues were the 18, 20, and 11. There was great side by side racing throughout, and some good battles for the lead. Richmond, multi groove racing, cars sliding around, a bump and run pass for the win. You're just a typical, uneducated, ignorant NASCAR fan who is fixated on his driver, and his driver only, and fails to see everything else that's going on in the race. If Kevin was that dominant last night, not a word would have been said about it being a boring race. There were even some great battles throughout the race last night - Kevin and Brad for example, battled all night. You mention NASCAR has killed the racing - let me ask you this: Back in the late 90s, early 2000s when NASCAR was in its prime, was every race a barn burner lap after lap? Did every race have a nail biting finish? Of course not. Most races were dominated by one guy - whether it be Jeff Gordon, Dale Jarrett, Mark Martin, Bobby Labonte, etc. So, to think the racing today is any different than it was back during NASCAR's prime, that's extremely delusional in itself. You might want to do a little bit of thinking and research before you post such things that are poorly thought out and lacking research and logic. Oh, wait...there's no place for logic on this message board. How silly for me to request such an attenuated occurrence.

I'm not big on the new package itself, I'd like to see more side by side, but who wouldn't.

The 500 was horrible as well, bailed out by a great turn three and four and finish. Talladega was much better but also turned into a jokey wreck fest. Last night I thought the racing was good behind first place. Kevin went up and passed a bunch of cars; Truex just had an amazing car, and then when it looked like the 4 had the tables turned on him, they got a caution and a better adjustment. Honestly when one company (or their main satellite team) has won every race except a plate race and an All Star race for two months, I'm not sure you can call the racing "great," but it is better.

Some late cautions nascar through at the end of half the races have created some great finishes, im really surprised they didn't throw one late last night, totally out of character for nascar! Im glad they didn't throw the yellow, no reason too. I wouldn't say its been great racing though without nascar throwing some needless cautions creating some exciting finishes.

Exactly right, Greg. I love to see the kind of racing that Talladega produced a few weeks ago. I just wish they could all come steaming towards the finish line clean, instead of in a heaping pile. Unfortunately, those situations are few and far between. Go look up the finish to the 2001 spring race that Bobby Hamilton won. That was the perfect RP race. Caution free, and 30 cars coming to the finish line 4 and 5 wide, with a last lap pass for the win. I also agree on the domination by one team, it does make it a little less enjoyable to watch, but you can't deny that the racing has been visibly better than it has been in years' past. I'm hoping they continue the trend with taking more downforce away after the Michigan and Kentucky races, and add some power back for next year. I was listening to Chad Knaus on SiriusXM the other day, and he said it would be damn near perfect if the power was given back with the downforce taken away.

"Honestly when one company (or their main satellite team) has won every race except a plate race and an All Star race for two months, I'm not sure you can call the racing "great," but it is better." I think that is the big issue. I have heard a bunch of people compare JGR's success to the 4 car, the 48 car or even the 24 car back in Jeff's prime. The 4, the 48 and the 24 were all single cars ,that stood out ,from larger team(s). My point? ALL four of the of the JGR cars, and the 78 satellite team, are running really really good ... . That's 5 cars! When as the last time ALL 4 cars from Hendrick have run in the top 10 several weeks in a row. How about RCR or SHR? Has the racing been good?... kinda! You have two recent wins were a Toyota took two tires and was able to hold off a car that took four. And when Denny takes four in the Xfinity race, he comes from like 6th place and pulls off a solid win. It's like the entire Toyota camp is playing with the field... it like they have a boost button they use at the end of a race to ensure a victory ... Truex decide it was his race to win and had it pressed the entire race...LOL! Really...Truex deserved that win, but that kind of dominance from the satellite team makes me worried about the rest of the season... Harvick and Jimmy both had to be perfect to even come close and that wasn't enough.
