if i counted right kevin is tied for 10th all time with lee petty at 48 2nd place finishes and highest among all active drivers

And mike joy labeled him the closer. Now I'm not a hater but his nick name should be " can dominate races and make them so boring that nascar has to throw a fake caution flag for the fans and then when somebody challenges him for the win they usually beat him and he just says his car was just to tight that last run and is happy to finish 2nd" I hope you get its a joke but I hate the "closer" nick name. Only fit him in crap RCR equipment that took all race to make it to the front. He should be called the "dominator" cause he dominates almost every race but doesn't win them.
