Just a note to Thank you for putting this together, and I still for the life of me do not understand why they are shutting down the other board at this time of the year. I could be a little more understanding if they had decided to shut it down after the racing season was over when things were a lot slower but just when the Chase is about to start? It just does not make much sense to me.. But again Thanks for doing this |

Hey everyone! Glad to see this place opened up. Hopefully we can keep it going and gain some members. Admin -- If you want any help moderating the board I would certainly be willing to help. I, of course, like you may not visit every day, but I'm certainly willing to help.

Thanks for setting this up. I wasn't real sure if I was going to join or not - I think what happened yesterday was a real slap in the face that wasn't necessary, but it is what is.
Thanks BDay for the kind comments on the other board which I won't be visiting for its final few days.

Personally I just think that Jill didn't have the time to administer the board anymore, as many of you may or may not know I've been a moderator on the board & the one before it. I wasn't even notified other than the same way you all were. While I could have continued to monitor the board (not that there was much to do) & start the race threads I wouldn't have been able to answer questions pertaining to fan club gatherings etc. It's more likely just easier for her to communicate with these questions via email. So in other words it's one less responsibility she has. And at times the board has been very slow. Let's face it there will never be another original HOL that Cindy took care of & a lot of the original HOL people didn't like the new board formats & never followed over. I'm sorry to see it go & I kinda have to agree why not just have let it run till the end of the year but then again we don't all that is going on at KHI. I remember you being a Mod on the other board, oh and I love your picture there.. that is soooo cute! |
