Gibbs cars again! Positions 1-4 in first practice! Not sure how Kenseth didnt get up there....he must be the car this week trying something and taking one for the team lol!

Any Canadians online? I was told that NBCsn is NOT available in CANADA?? Anyone getting it? Even the race will be on that channel. My provider is looking into it ... but  |

And we're way off as usual when the 4 comes to Kentucky.

All of SHR was slow.
Didn't we test here?
I recall we did and were fastest.
Of course not the same tire as the test. Sounds like Goodyear brought the Bedrock tires this week.
Penske also slow today.

Yeah they tested and then Goodyear totally f'd them over by making a 180 degree change in the tires, rendering the test meaningless. M

This is getting old and old fast. Last year this was about the time were Toyota turned it around and became dominate. I don't see anything from the others teams to challenge and do the same. I still think we are the best team to take them down, but we are behind on speed this year. Long runs we still have more speed than most. The new repave will not be our friend this year.

That's good we needed that. I tweeted Rodney earlier in the day and ask if he thinks we have the right setup. He responded find out in 2 hours. Well looks like we have the speed we need. I feel pretty good Rodney almost always answers my tweets. I think that's pretty cool.

Well we had another race that we led the most laps and had a car that only truex could beat. I wouldn't have thought it would have stayed green until the end with all the previous cautions happening every 25 laps.
Kudos too the 2 team! They have BALLS and nothing to lose!
Kudos too the 4 pit crew!! Got to give credit where credit is due! Hopefully they turned a corner and can keep it up! That #1 stall was huge also. Harvick had GREAT restarts and was masterful on car control.
But for race strategy...they still need to improve on that and im not sure thats something a individual can do.. You either have it or you dont! I know last nights ending was tough circumstances, but it would be nice to be on the right side of the fence when it comes to the end of these races for a change. Not sure about the 2 lefts at the end. Im not sure why they didnt try it? Harve asked with 30 to go what are we doing here?? Rodney didnt even want to take the chance...
Im far from a expert or crew chief for that matter, but I do know what I see week after week. I dont care how well you can set up a car and tune it, if you cant make the right decisions come checkered flag time, well you know, we witness it A Lot!
Rodney is one hell of a Cheif and its easy to view things hind sight. But he needs some help in the strategy department.

Everybody on the team is saying they were WAY short on gas but the 41 and 14 both made it, so I dunno.
The car was very fast, the strategy was poor in the last 100 laps, like pretty much every race. Left side tires at that time was brain dead, and no adjustment was made for taking lefts either.
It's getting old. I mean honestly they are extremely lucky to have one win this year - which was mostly Edwards totally choking.

I agree Greg, they are VERY lucky Carl screwed up the bump and run! Hindsight its easy for us to complain about these races the following day, but I just cant believe how many races they F up!
Seriously, when most teams have dominant cars like we have had in many races they usually, not always, but usually win the race. Its heartbreaking to watch them lead the most laps every week to watch them lose at the end! Im not sure that in the future it gets any better, its chronic!
We will see this week! Maybe they will bring that dominant car back to New Hampshire and kick everyone's ass again all race! But Maybe this time they wont run it out of fuel... fingers crossed🏁
