Car looked ok in race trim. Not sure why we are so slow in q trim. Gibbs are 4 of the top 5 like always.

Did anyone read the 12 questions with KH this week? I thought he gave uncharacteristically candid answers. I found the one answer about what he does in practice really enlightening. He doesn't even look at speed charts and goes solely off of the feel of the car. Thats why I don't think he ever cares where they were in practice.
Did he make a qualifying run also?

I can't help but think back to 2014 when they won a bazillion poles. What's changed since then? It seems like it's 2010 over again where they q poorly but race well. |

4th fastest in morning practice so far.
He's run a bunch of laps and his times still look good.

Weather looks good for tomorrow...maybe a sprinkle, otherwise the race will happen.
Track will most likely be greasy tomorrow....

As usual the issue isn't the speed of the car, it's going to be about strategy, track position, fuel mileage and pit road, and in those races we usually come out behind.
