Rodney's suspended for the weekend for the crew missing a lugnut on the last stop
Dax is the CC and Zipadelli is going to help in some capacity.

He got suspended for an actual loose lug. He had all 20 on there. One wasn't up to NASCAR standards..

I confess I looked at the suspension as a major winning opportunity Hey remember when we all thought Rodney was a genius? Not really. In 2014, I thought he was the absolutely best at setting up cars for qualifying and the race and was competent at strategy/adjustment on race days - which made him easily a top 5 CC in NASCAR. Fast forward 2 years, and now I feel he is ONE of the best at setting up cars for the race, is very good but not great at qualifying set ups, and is one of the worst CC's among the major teams during the race as far as adjustments/strategy. He is borderline top 10 CC now imo because the cars are so good heading into the race. But I never thought he was a genius the likes of Knaus or anything.

He's still the best at setting up the cars, the Toyotas have a 15 HP advantage right now. He also routinely keeps the car handling well all weekend long. His strategy game is just a 1/10 and it hurts him..

His strategy game is just a 1/10 and it hurts him.. See - I think maybe I was overrating him in 2014. Right now, Kevin's average starting position is 10th - if you remove the Toyotas from the equation, he is 5th. That's not THE BEST setting up cars - that's ONE of the best. Logano, Keselowski, Kurt Busch, and JJ are all ahead of him. He routinely adjusts the car the wrong way then needs to chase it for the remainder of the race. There are MANY times this year where, early on, it seemed the 4 was the class of the field - but then it falls off by mid-race either from poor adjustments or bad strategy. So I'm not sure how rating him the following is totally underrating him: Setting up cars for race: ONE of the best Qualifying set ups: Very good, but not great In-race strategy/adjustment: Poor
