That was awesome today! I knew Kev had the car to win I just wasn't sure he could get out in front of Edwards. Then it was some nervous laps there until the end. Pretty good races today, even if #4 wouldn't have won. Well it all worked out in the end, but we were not the best car today. We need to find some speed still. We don't win practice or qualifying like we used to do. At the end of the practices everyone knew the 4 was to beat. We are not in that place like we used to be, but we are still looked at. Just the others cars like the Gibbs bunch know they can beat us. I think we are a top 4 team and should go to homestead. The only thing that scares me is when will Gibbs bring there really good stuff. It seems the way Kevin talks they have what they have which is what I figured with them going to ford next season.

Anyone know why Kyle Busch was acting a little weird about Edwards? The only thing I can come up with is when Edwards moved him at Richmond.

Nascar even held back throwing a caution when the 24 blew a tire. A caution at that point could have cost us the race. I'm glad they are showing more flexibility during the chase.

3 chevy's, 4 Toyota's and a ford in the top eight. Not a bad mix. Toyota doesn't have a lock on anything. Hopefully there are more fords in the mix next year.

I think Kyle was just being Kyle. He is so weird. Even makes stupid remarks when he wins

Fantastic race, we really needed that going to Dega. In fact, filling the MH now, getting it ready to leave for Dega on Wednesday. All you attending the M&G, it should be fun and relaxed with this win. I did my M&G in Daytona this year. Kevin could actually win this race again. Not having to win or place really good puts a different mind set on you. He can SHOW THE FIELD who's the man to beat every each week!!!

Normally I hate watching talladega races. Now I'll watch it without fear of getting caught up in someone else's wreck. I'll mostly be cheering for as many toyotas as possible to get caught up in someone else's mistake. Would be nice to eliminate all the good cars before next round.

Eliminating both Penske cars and the 78 or 11 is a real possibility if they have trouble, so while I facetiously said last night I would just put it in the garage after a lap, I agree going out and trying to win and keeping somebody like the 24 from advancing by winning is the best strategy. Make them point in.

Kevin needs to push Dillon to a win! Needs to be one of the bottom 4. Joey could be a big threat given that chance. The Hendricks cars are running too good. As Eor (Hamlin), he's driving a Toyota. Has to be Dillon.

Anyone know why Kyle Busch was acting a little weird about Edwards? The only thing I can come up with is when Edwards moved him at Richmond. I think it was because the reporter asked him the same question twice. He avoided it the first time. I can't stand when a reporter tries to instigate something like that. It makes me cringe.

I cannot stand that either , but Kyle was mad on the radio. Makes me wonder. He had a 10th place car all day, but Sirius radio has been acting like Kyle had more speed. It's like these people watch different races. The only reason Kyle got to 2nd was with the 4 tires not to mention he failed to finish in th top 4.

Pretty good races today, even if #4 wouldn't have won. Well it all worked out in the end, but we were not the best car today. Well I certainly didn't say Kevin had the "best car," but he certainly showed he had a capable car from the beginning of the race. All I meant was I went from hoping for a top 10 to thinking he had a chance to win if he got the right breaks and he did. Having Johnson behind him on the last restart for instance. It was by no means a perfect race for the 4 team as there were at least two poor pit stops, but the car and/or driver were able to overcome those with some good luck. I'm really not sure there was a "best car" in the race. Kenseth was pretty dominant early, but then couldn't get it going again. Edwards may have been a little better than Kevin, but not enough to run him down at the end. For that matter, if Johnson had gotten out in front, I'm not sure anyone would have caught him either. Elliott looked strong too before his problems. It was nice to see the 4 team take advantage of the situation last week.

Harvick set second fastest lap of the race on a restart at lap 200. This was the second run on that set of tires, while chasing Mr Ed. 20 car set the fastest lap, 19 was 3rd fastest, also on lap 200.
If he did not have the best car, I would say he had a top 3 car for sure.
And I am glad his car was not setup for the long run. The long run cars are often said to be the best car. The long run car seldom wins. Just ask Harv.
Rodney had the perfect setup IMO. The car was a beast on restarts. I hope this is what they target from here on out.
