I'm not going to post much because I can't think of anything positive. It started with switching to Ford, with the 2 and 22 thinking we were teammates ... then the 4 treating them like teammates?  All the dumb ass changes again. I like fast cars on race tracks racing for a win. I don't like tricked out gimmicks to draw in people who don't usually watch the races anyway. So all in all ..... this is NOT a good year for me at all and I'll do much better going back into my corner and staying quiet. |

Eh, do like we all do. Rant, rave, moan and gripe.
I too am so tired of all the changes the last 10-15 years, but I just can't do ball sports, so I just hang around, put in my own 3 sense and read the good, bad & ugly.

I'm on the site, but just lurking. I'm not liking all the changes either. Ford, I'm a chevy fan through & through. I will still continue to cheer for Kevin,(just CAN'T cheer for Logano or Keselowski) but with Kevin going to Ford will NOT influence me into buying a Ford. Will stick to my Chev vehicles.

All of the cars look the same to me so other than a brand name I don't see a difference and really don't care. That said I have owned Chevy, GMC and Ford heavy duty trucks. I recently purchased a Dodge 2500HD (Cummings) and this is by far the best truck I have ever owned. That said....Dodge needs to re-enter the game.

Im pretty encouraged by Kev's comments regarding the speed he now has that was missing before!!
Gotta wonder if Mr H was holding back his best stuff for his stable---cant blame him if he was.
Its quite early ...Im hopeful
I was looking at grabbing a flight out of the cold zone and watching the duels and truck race and heading home....flight = expensive holy cow!

I'll believe the stuff about the 2 and 22 being great teammates with the 4 and other SHR cars when they are pushing him and them and not the other way around.
In the first few laps of the Clash, Logano did his usual dump the 4 in the draft as soon as he could.

People get too caught up on the manufactures in Nascar and the changes. Who cares. I love ford or chevy but it really does not matter in the end. This is mostly a driver driven sport. That being said I do have my preferences of course, but that's only a small amount of what really matters. On the changes subject. If more people watched or showed up too the races we might not be in the pickle we have today. I like some of the changes. After all the goal of any sport is to create excitement and give a good experience to the viewers. People hate change but times are changing and changing fast and that being said. I am a die hard harvick fan. So as long as he races I will be here.

[ I am not saying anything is wrong with it because I hate Toyota. Now my opinion Ford is the best and always will be for a lot of different reasons, but manufacturers is only a small part of the sport to me. Like I said this sport is more driver driven than team, manufacturers, etc. Now there is nothing wrong with being a fan of a manufacturer. If that's what gets your blood pumping good for you. I am not hating on anybody, but as a Big Harvick fan that I am. It's sad to see people get carried away and making a big fuss over the ford issue and start questioning the fact should they stay or go. If we can win Who cares. Die hard fans always follow their guy no matter the case. |
