Chassis Information - Chassis No. 4-1041: Kevin Harvick will pilot the No. 4 Busch Beer Ford Fusion built on Chassis No. 4-1041 in the Axalta presents the Pocono 400 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race Sunday at Pocono (Pa.) Raceway. Built new in 2017, Chassis No. 4-1041 is new to the SHR fleet and will make its Cup Series debut Sunday at Pocono.
New car this weekend. Hopefully they can check this one off the win list.
One of the few tracks on the circuit Kevin hasn't won at, so again a few of my favorite Harvick moments at Pocono. Who can forget he and Kenseth tangling at the end of the race, leading to them both being penalized and finishing at the end of the lead lap. The following week Kevin wore a Kenseth shirt that ended up being auctioned off and won by a fan on HOL, Sue.
Second is the infamous "His wife wears the fire suit in the family" comment made by Joey Logano after he and Harvick had contact late in the race.

A crew chief given a 4 week mid season break... only benefits a team. What do you think, Adam Stevens will just sit at home a twittle his thumbs? He's already prepping for next week. He'll have a 3 day head start on all of the other teams. Suspending a CC only gives the team more time to prepare each week! These suspended crew chiefs need to be at the track selling peanuts or assigned to a track crew. Work their suspension off! Like community service! I agree, Kyle will get a win while Adam Stevens is on suspension. |

Yup... I watched. Thought they did great. Not too worried about the future TV commentary from the booth. Just not Jones... all we'll hear about from him, will be about his past team. Kevin did a good job with the questions and the fill in... Loved the Mullet segment!

Practice 2: Fastest 10 Lap avg... Kevin Harvick (Laps 11 - 20)... he also ran the most laps at 32. Shrub ran the 2nd most (29), but didn't have 10 consecutive laps.

Found a page on Nascar.com on the Mahle engine award... but it seemed more like a points system, not a individual award. I just thought it was interesting. And, I thought the Driver of the race award was interesting too.... Kevin!? Must be a points award... with the stages and focus on wins, Kevin did get most points. |

I think quality passed cars plays a factor too if I remember right.
Boy I stood up for a sec when Kevin got back to the gas in the tunnel turn. He was really gonna make up some ground on the last lap but had to burp it at the last second and lost momentum.
