Chassis Information - Chassis No. 4-004: Kevin Harvick will pilot the No. 4 Jimmy John’s Ford Fusion built on Chassis No. 4-004 in the Tales of the Turtles 400 Saturday night at Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet, Illinois. Built new in 2017, Chassis No. 4-004 made its debut in the Monster Energy NASCAR All-Star Race at Charlotte (N.C.) Motor Speedway, where it started third and finished sixth. It’s most recent appearance came in July at Kentucky Speedway in Sparta, where Harvick started seventh and finished ninth.
Well, it's a 2017 car for the start of the playoffs, albeit one that hasn't seen much action or run all that well. Hopefully they've been saving a little for the playoffs and start off on the right foot. Seems like they shoot themselves in the foot here recently.

I'll dvr it again, skip the commercials and watch it in a hour. I feel no need to watch the Toyota race! I've got memories to make with my son out on the boat. I bet the over on how many laps Truex/Bucsh leads this weekend lol!!  |

Feel bad for Kenseth... You can see what Toyota teams were given the nod for the playoffs. Just like Kevin last year... The Chevy's notched up in the playoffs and the 4 car didn't. I think every time the 18 gets the pole... it by 3 tenth or more.
I've heard more about the Toyotas and their advantage the past few weeks ... I think the media is finally starting to see it. Thanks Brad.
This playoff system works best with a heathy dose of parity.

Feel bad for Kenseth... You can see what Toyota teams were given the nod for the playoffs. Just like Kevin last year... The Chevy's notched up in the playoffs and the 4 car didn't. Since when does it make sense for adults to get points for part of a race. That's something you do to encourage kiddies to keep playing. You really think NASCAR would try rigging the races? That would be the death blow for an already dying sport.
