One of the most stunning and surprising top fives I remember Kevin ever having.
The car was pretty good all day, and they did a much better job keeping up with the track through the day, but first the pit crew and then Rodney got bailed out big time with the late carnage.

Brad (ford) and Chase (chevy) had as much a chance to win as any of the toyotas. Unless nascar can manufacture the mess the last 20 laps brought us the race was up for grabs.

Agree... and to have KB's Toyota win it. In away its great! Don't get me wrong... I would have loved to have seen anyone but a Toyota...but I think it makes the road to the final 4 easier. I think Brad knew it. Last thing we needed was to go into Texas and Phoenix with both the 18 and the 78 wanting wins. Hard enough trying to win one...add the pressure of 2 Toyota teams bringing their A games. I don't think Brad or Blaney have the speed on the 1.5's (and Phoenix) that Harvick has. Jimmy and Chase will be a threat. I'm not too worried about the 11. And another win by the 18 just makes it so another will be able to point in. 78, minus a catastrophe, will at least be able to point in. That leaves 1 spot and I think Harvick has been running better that the others.

KB could suffer Engine failure every race and it would never get old! Logano was basically wrecked by KB. Just took 5 laps for the wreck to actually happen. KB: "I smelt it go..." Couldn't win it on aero so the bulls felt the need to wreck someone! But what do you expect from KB and DH. Two peas in the same pod when it comes to driving style. Two of the most bullish drivers on the track!
