Weird, I guess they tried to fix this one but Kevin didn't follow the script? ..... or maybe they're just setting you up for the big 18 victory in Homestead? LOL nascar had to do something different for all 3,000 fans that showed up for the race... So Kevin didn't earn the win today? That was scripted too? |

3000 fans! LOL! I though the same thing... I called that race wrong... had Truex winning. The little respect I had for Truex was lost with that interview... privileged ________! Kevin did something that the 78 hasn't seen from a non-Toyota driver most of the season... straight up race him and win! To finish 2nd and sit there and call out a competitor mid interview! Didn't really acknowledge the 4. Starting to sound a lot like KB! I guess he too started to believe NASCAR was scripting the races and thought he'd win it. FYI... it wasn't the 6 car that was in the traffic that held up Truex... if you look the 6 is ahead of Havick in the final 2 or 3 laps! And one more thing... I was wrong with how close the Fords are to the Toyotas. I am now thinking that the 4 car has a slight advantage going into Homestead. Trevor Bayne is indeed one of the worst drivers on the racetrack week in and week out. And no, he wasn't ahead of Kevin in the final 2-3 laps. He was directly in front of the 78 when Kevin made the winning pass. Truex has been extremely classy and clean when racing Kevin and pretty much everyone else for pretty much his entire career with no exceptions I can think of off the top of my head. He might be the cleanest driver in the sport... |

He might be the cleanest driver in the sport... SO I was wrong! Yes the 6 was in front of Truex when Harvick made the pass... But Tevor was not at fault, that was totally Truex and the state of his car at the time! He sounded a lot like KB and I would have expended that from KB ... not from Truex because like you said he does race guys clean and is pretty respectful of his competitors. It caught me funny that he'd call a guy out and that guy wasn't really in the way! |

Bayne didn't really play any role in Harv passing Truex, so I dunno what he was so peeved about. Yes he was in front of them, but a good half-dozen car lengths or so.

Speaking just for myself, I will be rooting hard for the 11 to be the fourth guy.
I would like TRD/Toyota to be stretched as much as possible with three cars and to be the only Ford.
