Power Rankings: Daytona to Atlanta
By Pat DeCola | Tuesday, February 20, 2018
Driver: Martin Truex Jr.
Rank: 1
Change: --
Comment: Truex Jr. led four laps on Sunday but was again shut out of his first Daytona 500. Still, there's no reason to question the No. 78 team's reign at the top just yet, so No. 1 he remains. For now.
Power Rankings: Atlanta to Las Vegas
By Pat DeCola | Tuesday, February 27, 2018
Driver: Martin Truex Jr.
Rank: 1
Change: --
Comment: Harvick could've made a case for taking this spot, but give Truex some credit -- he started at the tail of the field, dealt with some pit road problems not of his doing and still finished fifth. Oh, and he's the defending race winner.
-------
Huh? I bet Pat wakes up in the morning wearing Martin Truex Jr PJ's, drinks coffee from a ...opps sorry... drinks his 5 hour energy and drives his Toyota Camary to the office! Truex lead 1 lap (a season total of 5 so far). I do not think it is due to his domination. Harvick lead 181 laps. Oh and and Harvick had the same pit road problems not of his doing and still FINISHED 1st! In MHO... Truex has been OK definitly NOT #1

Power Rankings: Las Vegas to Phoenix
Driver: Martin Truex Jr. Rank: 2 Change: -1 Comment: Ho-hum, just a second-straight finish inside the top five for Truex at Vegas this past weekend. Despite being 0-for-24 at ISM Raceway, he'd still be No. 1 here if it weren't for some other guy driving out of his mind the past two weeks.
----
Just love it when a fanboy tries to hold on to the past! "... he'd still be No. 1 here if it weren't for some other guy driving out of his mind the past two weeks." So just turning in Ho-hum could net you #1... If your name is Martin Truex! LOL! Maybe he'll drop his laptop in the fish tank at his local Bass Pro Shop! Michael McDowell lead 11 laps, it is 5 more than Truex!

Power Rankings: Phoenix to Auto Club
By Pat DeCola | Tuesday, March 13, 2018 Driver: Martin Truex Jr. Rank: 2 Change: -- Comment: The Phoenix pole winner only led three laps, but could be out front some more at Auto Club, where he led 73 last year. That said, he has just one top five (2017's fourth) in 17 Fontana starts.
-----------------------
Sorry to keep harping on this ... But REALLY!!!! It's actually quite funny! As my wife and I would say..."Pat has drunk the Kool-Aid!" Put down the 5-Hour! Oh... Michael McDowell STILL has led more laps!
At least he has Kevin in the right place!

You guys have really got to let this Toyota thing go. You pay more attention to those guys than you do your own driver.

Driver: Kevin Harvick Rank: 1 Change: -- Comment: Here we are again. Nobody has anything for Harvick at the moment, and he could very well win Auto Club. The 2016 runner-up led 142 laps in that race, won in 2011 and his 237 laps led are fifth most among actives. Four in a row, anyone?

You guys have really got to let this Toyota thing go. You pay more attention to those guys than you do your own driver. My posts are more about the blatant bias of the Power Rankings. Sure we took some jabs at Toyota but they make a big target. And, it just so happened that Truex drives a Toyota. At this point, I think the 3 makes are fairly equal. Harvick is having that year we always knew he was capable of. Its 2014 again with a seasoned team! As for Truex... I believe that there are 4 or 5 different drivers that are performing better than him. He definitely does not rank 2nd... That should be Shrub. Oh... FOX's Scanner clip was way better than NASCAR.COM's,,,, Kyle passed a message to Kevin through spotters... basically telling Kevin that he was only racing him to put on a show for the fans. Kudos for a Toyota driver... but he's still Shrub! Radioactive (Youtube)

Discrediting my post because I'm new here? I guarantee you I've been following Kevin a lot longer than you have. newbie, lol The fact that this is all you can say proves my point. You have no logical reasoning to back your outlandish claims other than your raging hard-on that you have for Kyle Busch.
