We're going, gonna meet race friends from Birmingham and Indiana about 7am. Suppose to rain Saturday and early Sunday, we'll see. So we still get to hang with friends and tailgate all day under the tent. (like we've never done that before)
But what's the racing going to be like?
Normally I would say Kevin has a legitimate chance, he runs good at Atlanta, Texas and Charlotte. But if it turns out like the all-star race last year, it'll be whoever is in the top 10 with 10 to go.

Would not be surprised if he dominates again. Late race restarts could be crazy and unpredictable. I'm interested to see if we're going to get any practice before the race. Forecast looks kind of bleak, as you said. |

Ran 2 laps, 29th on the chart.
However our teammates were 1, and 2.
Not sure why only 2 laps on track.
Perhaps WX conditions?
Evidently FOX isn't bothering to broadcast practice any more?

All good with the steering today (ended up being bad power steering pumps)...car seemed to be right there on long run speed so guess we'll see how it goes being a ways back to start.

Harvick has a distinct advantage here... Why spend time practicing hot lap speed when we all know its long run speed that counts. And remember folks the chassis' are the same just a new body on it. I'm more worried about a loose rear window brace than Kevins ability to get around this track! LOL!
