Lets hope there was some sole searching in the SHR shop this week and the right frame of mind will be in place when the green flag drops this weekend. I am confident that will be the case.

Rodney was on Moody's show on Sirius yesterday and I don't know that I've ever heard him more confident. He made it clear that they tried something on Saturday night that didn't work. He also inferred that they've been holding some stuff back during the regular season. He fully expects to be in the final four when all is said and done.

I don't think the Gibbs cars will be that good when they race on the mile and a halfs that the chase is full of, plus they haven't been that good with the chase down force package. We know Kevin will be good! If the Gibbs cars run good at Chicagoland then they might be some competition, the 20 anyway

Kevin seems to agree “I wouldn’t consider us behind the Gibbs cars. I think we’re going to pound them into the ground. That’s what I think. Hopefully they can beat themselves." nascar.nbcsports.com/2015/09/17/harvick-looking-to-pound-gibbs-cars-in-chase/

Kevin has a great chance, however i worry about the inconsistent pit crew and circumstances they seem to always get caught up in. If it comes down to homestead with 20 laps to go and he has to beat a gibbs car off pit road ugh...my opinion kyle is a great talent but seems to lose it when things dont go his way and cant keep it together, which every driver in the chase will have a moment to have to deal with. I think Kenseth and Johnson will be the guys were fighting with.

The 20 car will win. They aren't consistent but when they are fast they are untouchable and you don't have to be consistent any more. You just have to hit and win once every three weeks and once at the end. The 4 team is certainly capable but I think they will need to have an issue like last year at Martinsville to light a fire under their butts again. Maybe that was last week but I think it might need to be something more serious where they are basically put in a win or you're done situation again. Well it looks like you got your wish!!
