78 is an absolute rocket. He's been fastest on the short run by a ton and his long run in practice 2 was faster than the 4.

Yup, 78 looks really quick. A little worried about tomorrow, honestly...

The 4 has 2 to 3 tenths on everyone at this point.
Does not fire off real well however.

Thanks Greg and Salma for easing my nerves just a bit I am watching raw feed lap times through nascar.com out camping this weekend on shore of lake Superior, so no tv. If there are interviews please post his comments. I am concerned as to how the car fires off. It will be interesting on restarts. Denny the 78 and the hamburgerlar are looking stout.

He is 6th best on the 15 lap. The 48 looks tough which is surprising. I don't feel good about this week just like last. Kevin goes straight to the top of the track while others run the bottom and with the tire fall off the bottom for now will be the fastest.

I am curious where you get your stats. The only thing I have to go on is what jayski and what they show on the tv and he is nowhere near the top.

If you didn't know the 48 would be awesome once the chips were down you haven't been watching NASCAR the last ten years. They've been messing around with stuff for 2016 since Dover.

The 48 said their self they were behind and it has showed on the race track. Teams may experiment, but your fast your fast and if your off your off. The 48 last year had the same season sub par at best and did nothing in the chase. So yeah I am very surprised that they have this kind of speed sense they have struggles so much this year.

His fastest ten lap average was later in practice...dunno if it means anything but everybody's else's was right off the bat (laps 1-10).
48 has the best ten lap average and everybody on Twitter is like he's won the race already.
