Anyone heading to the track on Sunday? I got lucky and met the requirements to be able to attend. It sure is going to be weird with just 5,000 in the stands watching a cup race.

It sure is going to be weird with just 5,000 in the stands watching a cup race. what were the requirements?? When I got my tickets, you had to be a Talladega account holder, and live within a 150 mile range of the track. I think eventually they opened it up to the general public a few days before the race. I missed having a big crowd, but it was pretty nice being able to get up and move around. Really easy getting in and out of the track as well. Talladega handled everything first class with tremendous efficiency and minimal headache. I really thought Kevin had that one yesterday. He never can seem to win there when I attend. Ironically, the last race I missed at Talladega, Kevin won in 2010. I had to miss due to a death in the family. Grandma will be getting an earful from me in heaven one day. |
