IMO... Best thing since allowing just the leader to pick lanes. should have added this years ago... our win total would be higher! As for the biggest issue... I don't see why they can't have a safety truck with a big bright orange < on the back of it. you could even add several tall flags so drivers can see it even when behind other cars. After the last car drives by... Drive off and park it off track... Seems pretty straight forward to me. If you don't see the big truck in front of you and hit it... the damage done and the return to pit road for repairs will be a big enough penalty.
Anyway. I personally like the choose rule and it eliminates the games trying to get off pit road to get the preferred lane... I actually liked the lucky dog rule and removing the lapped down cars from starting on the inside. But hated how a great day could be ruined by a bad lane restart. And... Hopefully it will eliminate the team games at tracks like Martinsville.
What's your thoughts?

It’s been needed for a long time. One of the most frustrating aspects of the sport, to me, was having the 4th place car be at an advantage to 3rd and 2nd

Totally agreed with Justin.
It's a game changer at places like Bristol and Martinsville, and if you feel like gambling and starting in the non-preferred line, it gives you the option to do so.
