Looking at Racing Reference just now and I see we are close to taking over the top spot in the category of Lead Lap finishes.
We are currently third to M Martin and Gordon. We're 50 behind Gordon at this time.
It's a quality in him Harv I have always been amazed of. The man rarely ever wrecks (Restrictor Races are not real races and don't count).
Also for Top 5s, we're now 13th, just 6 behind Johnson for 11th. And about 55 from Earnhardt in 5th.
For wins we're now directly behind The Man, 18 wins from his 76.
Quite a career, and a blistering second half of it.
Since 2010 No one has more wins, at 47 to Kyle's 40 and Jimmie's 36.
Amazing.

I saw Briscoe won and I knew Harvick would have a good night. SHR is firing on a 8 cylinders. I too have notice that Harvick has had very few self cause accidents... Just think of the guys you know that have crashed in practice. Jimmy, Kyle, Martin Truex, Denny ... When was Kevin's last crashed in practice? Kevin is a class act and very hard to knock! Like to see how many fans he's picked up in recent years! A true ambassador of the Sport.
