Try to figure out a spot that may have a lap down car in front and behind you.... Make getting in and out of the pit stall easier... I'm just trying to find a bright spot in this gloomy situation...

This likely sealed their fate. It's one of the hardest tracks in the series to pass on and not only is he going to have to pass 14 cars, they're all Chase guys, including all four Gibbs cars.
Add all that into likely having a horrible pit stall.

There's a good chance that the 17, and 26 will be a lap down fairly quick, IMO.

This is going to be epic. Going to have to go through JJ for the win. And he will do just that if he needs to.

I don't feel bad about the rain, the starting spot, or the pit stall. Rodney has dug Kevin this hole by being a complete and utter idiot the last 2 weeks. Going into the Chase, we kept hearing him say "we don't have to win we just have to be smart"...well, NOT pitting when a tire is smoking badly halfway through the race at Chicago is NOT being smart. NOT pitting while running 10th under caution when we are 6 laps short on fuel at a track where long green runs are the norm is NOT being smart. You can talk about fuel pumps and average cautions and all that other nonsense all you want, but the truth is that Rodney's poor calls in the most crucial of situations has put Kevin and the whole team so far behind the 8-ball that it is unlikely they will recover.
Oh, and I blame Jill and the others who decided to nuke the message board because it's all been a big, fat, steaming pile of s#*t ever since that fateful decision.

They got a loss of practice penalty today too b/c of issues at Loudon - anything they haven't fouled up in the last month?
