This isn't a must win but it's a sure would like to win. We all saw with the 18 car last year that they'd done what they needed to do heading into Talladega, got wiped out running in the back of the pack, and missed out on the 3rd round.
Win at Kansas and it probably forces the 20 into a must win at Talladega and the 18 possibly into a must win and it'd be great to eliminate one or both of them.

That would be perfect greg4fan! A win and possibly knocking those 2 out would increase Harvicks chances significantly! Biggest threats after that would be the 22 and 11.

I don't want to points race at dega. The stress level would be crazy. I hope we win and if not be at least plus 38 or more to the good to say we might be ok.

I would like to see NASCAR replace Talladega with a road coarse for the chase, Talladega is too much of a crap shoot and should not be a chase race. IMO

Every other sport has a "Wild Card"... Why not move Talladega to the week before the chase... Make it the Playin/Wildcard week.... Highest finishing driver that hasn't clinched a spot in the chase automatically becomes the 16th seed....

I was just about to come post about the car. This is the one that absolutely dominated the spring Bristol race until the accident and the one that dominated Loudon. Lets hope its fast off the truck and KH can move to the third round this weekend!
