They are calling over the engine guys. Kevin said the car is good but just will not go like something is wrong. I hope they change the engine because we are slow. 27th in Q trim. Curious if the engine guys found anything? They did not swap engines did they? Thanks for the info

2 car gets the pole but gets last pit selection....I guess that probably helped out the 4 since he got to pick third rather than 4th.

The engine guys said everything looked good. They fixed some front brake drag and that was it.

So far this weekend it looks to be single file race with no passing. Cars are almost wide open with no tire wear. A Charlotte nightmare all over again and on a side note. NASCAR thinks the car is the problem with bad racing, but it is the tires they run. Darlington had a crazy fall off of lap times and NASCAR thinks it was the new package. Same with Kentucky. Lots of fall off and good racing. They can change what ever on these cars, but until they slow them down in the corners and have tire fall off, this is what we are stuck with.

They didn't even look like they were concerned with this practice because of how cool the track was. He spent most of his practice widening out the groove for better racing. Looked like they were just having fun. Next practice will tell the tale.

Burn a test at a track and have no speed most every session, that's a problem.

Was still P5 on 10 lap averages but quite frankly if you get the car out front your not going to be passed lol but I think we will be fine tomorrow!

Good luck getting it out front when your fast lap is 4 10ths off the leaders. Restarts are everything. Car feels like a lemon.

I'll be interested to see what Rodney or Kevin says on Twitter tonight but last week was pretty much the same way and we finished 2nd and made the car a lot better through the day so I'm more than confident that they will be fine tomorrow!
