Now the big question.... Do they appeal and finish the season, and risk having to serve the penalty to start 2016 or do they roll with NASCAR's decisions?

Ricky Craven did a great response to Nascar's decision.

To harsh, they contradicted their own words and again, no consistency.

Worth a watch... The two that I enjoyed...
Danica getting cussed out by her Crew Chief
and Chad Knaus - 'Matt just got more fans than he's ever got in his whole life right there'...

Where is Hamlin on this fence, really?
He called it the Wild Wild West after Sunday wanting someone to step in. Now they have stepped in and he complains about it. Where exactly is he on this?

I believe they all want the current chase format to go away. It has led to or could lead to not so sportsmen like conduct and possibly one day crowning a champion that really isn't a champion.

Nascar has made their bed now they need to lay in to.. They knew this was going to happen and that is exactly what they got, I am telling you it is all about selling tickets and TV ratings. It should be based on a drivers performance all year not based on the last few races. Look how consistent Kevin has been all year with all the top 5 top 10 finishes and then they just throw it out the window when the chase starts. All it takes is one bad race or get caught up in someone else's mess and you are done so all the wins and great finishes mean nothing. Just my 2 cents

just when you think danica can't make herself look any more stupid She has got to have the most fowl mouth of any driver out there. It's a hoot to listen to her in car com. I especially liked last weekends comedy; Knost chews her ass out after the incident and she says "SORRY!"

I couple of people I know in the garage have told me that Hamlin is the dumbest SOB in the sport. Like, really really unintelligent. The term "blockhead" was thrown around. So, it's possible that he himself has no idea where he is on the fence - or even how to spell f-e-n-c-e.

From everything I've gathered he just seems like the stereotypical frat boy of the garage area who is never happy with anything. His interviews are never very good and he always talks such a big game. Not a big fan of his by any means.
