We're worried about Bayne!? After what happened to Kenseth! Not worried about him... I am worried about the 2 kids with nothing to lose!? I'm worried one of them decides to race Kevin side by side... like Jones did with Crafton in the truck race. On a side note: I really am trying to like Jones.. but the fact he races for KyleB and the medias love affair is making it really hard. I'm being forced fed another prodigy (like Joey) that in reality has really good equipment. That aside... I believe Jones first start in Cup, or any other true first timers, should note come in the finial 10 races. What are we going to call Jones? "Sliced Bread" is taken!.... What about "Mouse Trap"!? AND AND... when did the Camping World Truck series become, the "Must Drive A Toyota To Be Competitive Camping World Truck Series"? You mean race him for the win with 30 to go? That was Crafton's fault and Matt said that after the race.

Honestly if Kurt won tomorrow and we finished somewhere in the top five to advance I would be perfectly fine with that. In my perfect world the final four is the 24, 41, 4, and 78.

48 was fastest in everything except one lap (2nd)

I'm pretty sure we ran in traffic more than the other fast guys.
I think Kevin dominates tomorrow

That was Crafton's fault and Matt said that after the race. I understand the race for the win... both Joey and Brad will be racing for the win on every lap. If they have any car that is worth anything, they will not "give". They have absolutely nothing to lose! We though that Ryan Newman was hard to race around. Just wait until tomorrow. Joey and Brad will make Ryan look like a push over. Most drivers after racing side by side for a few laps, back off and not risk the wreck. Joey and Bard will count on that and expect the other driver to back down first... all race long! What is really going to be interesting is how they race each other. Both basically need a win. And one or both are not going onto Homestead!

I'm not worried at all. Kevin and Rodney seem very relaxed.

I don't if it has been mentioned but three SHR teams switched to a new transmission Friday. Rodney installed a transmission from Jasper transmissions which he used while at MWR. Hope it works out. edit for spelling.

Jasper is pretty much the best in the business so I think that will be fine. Anything that works would be an upgrade.

If you look at the spring race practice speeds, they look just like this weekends. Not top of the board 1 lap speed. Long runner car. I think they are holding back showing what they got. I remember a track not on the cup schedule but Busch series that he would only practice his line for 1 lap each practice. Didn't want anybody to see his line and then would kill them in the race. I'm pretty sure he won multiple races in a row there but cannot remember the track. Anybody remember this? He finally admitted it in victory lane after a few wins.

I believe this was at Indianapolis Raceway Park. He had a unique line in which he would diamond the corner. This was a Busch race, and he did destroy them that night. 2-3 years straight, same technique, same result. However sooner or later they all figure it out and catch up. Hopefully we have kept our secrets close to the vest yet again.

Honestly, how often does it rain in the desert. Been wide open skies all week till race day.
Hopefully we have planned on this temp change.
