Might sound trivial to most but I used to check race winnings weekly after every race. Nascar has announced that they will no longer do that due to the new charter system. My concern is that MONEY is going to totally ruin this sport. As far as I am concerned football, basketball and baseball players are absolutely over paid and the fans are the ones that ultimately pay their salaries. I am not one of those fans. Lets hope Nascar doesn't follow the same path. It is already difficult for most fans to attend a race.

NASCAR is following suit on this, bf wants to be with the football croud. This whole charter thing (should I say) is going to kill what we know as NASCAR. And a part of me hopes it does. I love nascar, it's a way of life, not just a sport for my wife and I. Yet where it was at 100% back in 96ish till 2000, has steadily lost a point every year. If NASCAR shareholders put a stop to this downward spiral, killed it for a few years, get rid of bf, then came back, it just might be good again.
