I'm thinking about getting tickets for next weeks race, but trying to get a decent "Seat View" is impossible.
I'm thinking somewhere in either turn 1 or turn 4, but I can't tell how good of a view either of those are. Anyone here have a recommendation?

Nevermind... in my quest to determine where I wanted to sit, I came across someone that was giving tickets away that they had won but had no interest in using...
I will be sitting in Turn 1... It's row 6, but hey, can't complain about free tickets!

It was one of those friends of a friend type deal on Facebook... was just asking a few people that I knew had been there what they thought of the track and someone else said they had tickets they didn't want... She emailed them to me last night... |

Turn one is great, sat there our only trip there about 8 years ago, sat about 1/2 way up and had a blast. Have a good time. Safe travels.

Had a great time at the race... On top of getting free tickets to the race, someone handed my son two free pit passes while we were walking around the concourse. Happened to catch them rolling Harvick's car out onto Pit Road. I'm sure Tombo loves my son's hat...  Plus the Free seats offered a great view. Martinsville is still my favorite, but getting out of Richmond was a lot less of a headache!  Attachments:

He loves all things NASCAR. His favorite is Harvick, but he has an eclectic collection of anything and everything NASCAR. Even though he was wearing the 18 hat, he was jumping and cheering with the rest of us when Carl pulled off the Bump and Run.... |

I have not... not yet... He's got a "Mini" one going on right now... Every race he's been to, I've purchased the 1/64th version of the winner for him (or any specialty cars that were there - Darlington got expensive last year) and he has them still boxed and displayed on a shelf. Lots of Hendrick and Joe Gibbs cars in there... Not sure if I'll be able to continue that since there doesn't seem to be a 75th Anniversary M&Ms car (Martinsville) or a Xfinity car (Richmond) available in 1/64th at this time. |
