Anyone heard any good rumors regarding who will be filling Sprint's shoes next season?
Either I'm out of the loop, or I'm surprised there hasn't been a lot of speculation out there at this point. Seems back when Winston announced they were leaving, new rumors came out every week.

Nothing has been reported yet, I saw something maybe last week or so that there cold be 8 to 10 companies in the mix as the next title sponsor.

8-10 companies in the mix tells me they aren't even close to finding an actual sponsor. They're probably asking way too much. The drastically declining attendance and ratings couldn't be at a worse time for NASCAR. I still think that the changes they made to the cars after the 2014 season (cutting horsepower, etc.) are going to haunt them for years. It may ultimately prove to be the straw that broke the proverbial camel's back. The 2014 season ended on a great note with a great chase... they followed it up by making all of those changes to the cars that destroyed any momentum the sport had gained.

I've heard nothing either. I like a story on espn, they asked bf why our tv numbers were down. He punted the question with "we've had some rain delays".
Ever since 2001, NASCAR has been on a slow downhill spiral with no sunny days ahead. JMOO.

Coming down to the wire here... So... if those are the five remaining ... which would you rather see?? I originally thought Coke, but then I remembered all of the PepsiCo sponsored cars that would lose their revenue.... Yum Brands could bring some pretty cool giveaways to the track on racedays. So could Samsung and Hisense, but I doubt they'll start handing out TV's to everyone in attendance. All of the Kroger's in my area shutdown when they went through bankruptcy several years ago, I find it hard to believe they are in a financial position to sign a longterm multi million dollar contract... www.sportsbusinessdaily.com/Journal/Issues/2016/08/01/Marketing-and-Sponsorship/NASCAR-title.aspx

Nike left golf. Maybe they'll start making racing gear and sponsor the series. Where did Budweiser go?

The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup. Wow. Have you heard the wants and lack of what they'll be doing to sponsor this sport. I also heard they paid 3 million a year, and it's only a 2 yr deal. I believe other bigger name companies don't see a soon turn around in nascrap either. God what is BF doing to this sport?

Yahoo sports reported Monster Energy paying $20 million per year for NASCAR Sponsorship. Compared to Nextel's 2004 10 year deal at $75 million per year and Sprints multi-year deal at $50 million per year.
Mister France sure has NASCAR going in the right direction

He was probably wasted when he signed off on the deal.
