Kevin was pissed how the information was leaked last time when he left RCR. He will not let that happen again. Everybody thinks that Tony Stewart is his best friend. They are good friends for sure. They have a lot in common yes. My guess is Josh is probably his best friend since they spend so much time together. Even if Kevin ends up staying with SHR I bet we will hear at some point how he could've stayed with Chevy. I'm not going to pretend that I know what's going on. But I do hope he goes the Hendrick Also Kevin has a museums worth of Chevy cars and old race cars. All with a bowtie on them. I just don't see how Chevy could let him get away. I would honestly rather see him go back to the over hendricks IF he goes back to Chevy. If he ends up with hms, I'll drop him like a hot rock. Wait, wait...lemme get this straight. You want Kevin to go to a mediocre organization over a top notch organization...AND, if he goes to the top notch organization which gives him the best chance of winning, you will no longer be a fan? But if he goes to the mediocre organization in which he has virtually no chance of winning, you will continue to be a fan? Is this what you are saying???

He's driving for Hendrick now for cripes sake. Hendrick engines, Hendrick chassis, everything is Hendrick. Maybe it salves your conscience to say SHR isn't Hendrick, but the equipment says otherwise.
And I'm on the record saying he'll be driving the #4 SHR Ford next year. Been way too forceful in his comments about staying.
I'd be happy to be wrong, but it's out of my hands anyways.

I didn't say that, I said rather, in reference to the previous quote and that's IF he moves. I want him to stay with SHR. Principles and values is my reasoning. If Kevin leaves SHR, I will still support him 100% anywhere, and I don't care if he starts a new KIA team driving an Optima. But if he goes to hms, I won't buy anymore 3 or 5 diecast, no more t shirts, hats, pins, nor another fan club membership. I will (as my wife did to jr) DROP HIM LIKE A HOT ROCK ! ! !

"RCR" wow, didnt we see enough wasted years there? When JR parted ways with DEI, he could have went anywhere! He chose HMS, his reason given during his press conference was to win a championship. It hasn't worked out for him for many reasons but equipment and HMS are not to blame. Harvicks results the past few years say it all, HMS may seem like they're missing a gear right now but I think thats only because the knife in the back Stewart/Hass gave them, it hurt both organizations!

So if he goes to HMS, you are done being a fan of his? You do realize that SHR is basically a satellite HMS organization, right?

Yeah, if he went back to RCR it would tell me he doesn't care about winning in the slightest - because RCR hasn't been a winning organization in years. I think HMS equipment has been pretty damn strong this year. Rookie Chase Elliott is up front just about every week. Jimmie Johnson has 2 wins and as many top 5's as anyone except the 18. Jr has 3 2nd place finishes and has run really strong everywhere except at RP tracks. The only HMS driver struggling is Kahne - and I think that's because he is a mediocre driver. In comparison, RCR has 3 total top 5 finishes between their entire stable of drivers. No wins. In fact, RCR hasn't won in 84 races. That's over 2 years since the last time RCR won a race - and that was Kevin before he left RCR. Not exactly what I would call a "winning organization".

I do have to admit that my opinions are biased due to the fact that im a Chevrolet fan. But it does bother me how this sport has evolved into drivers & some teams that there allegiance to a manufacturer is based off who's going to pay them more. That's what I used to like about Stewart, said what was on his mind, told it how it was left Gibbs because of the toyota change. Nascar is not healthy, no matter what they think, they cant turn it into the nfl, i agree with other comments here, they're turning it into the WWE.
Hass had a allegiance with HMS, HMS kept him in the sport to help make that team what it is today in exchange for automation equipment, now Hass has spit on that allegiance for money! I wish the best for Harvick and am a Harvick fan now until the end, but after he's done, I hope Stewart/Hass falls on there face because they had the perfect setup!

He doesn't seem to be happy with the rumors. I wonder why he hasn't come to terms with a new contract yet? He could put all this to rest by signing a new deal if he is in fact staying with Hass.

Haha - I was just throwing guesses out there before on this - I stated from the beginning I had no inside knowledge on this in the slightest. But it still absolutely makes the most sense to me - go to the best CHEVY team where one of their drivers is underperforming. I really, really hope this happens.

He just said last night on Twitter that people are "making shit up" about this whole deal. He wouldn't have to respond to a fan's tweet about it if it were true, but the fact he's going out of his way to refute it tells me there isn't one bit of truth to it.
