Not a good start to practice for the whole organization.
10 had a gear failure and dropped fluid which took both her along with 14 and 1 to backup cars meanwhile Zippy just said the 41 had the same thing happen to them on the other side of the track but caught it in time.
They are changing the rear gear on Kevin's car before he goes out..

I think we are very fortunate to catch the issue with the gear when we did. I have to believe the issue is now behind us. And I assume Jr had a pretty similar setup as Kevin's based on his times today. I would think were still sharing some things. |

He's got a tenth on the field at 10 laps into Saturday morning practice.
The 18 and 11 are very fast as well.
