Whatever they did to the bottom groove, in the first Truck practice this morning nobody would even touch it because it was so slick.
Better nail qualifying cause it's gonna be one lane, up top, and impossible to pass.

They supposedly were adding grip to the bottom to create two grooves on the track......guess that didn't work out so well, used to be one of my favorite races

The 2nd practice the bottom was really fast, but I think after all the trucks and cars practice on the surface the top will be the fastest. What they tried is working, but the top is so fast the bottom does not matter. For this to fully work the top needs to be slow with no grip like it was on the old surface.

For now the old Bristol is back. I hope it last and what ever they did does not wear off.

This is close as it gets to the old Bristol. It's good to see the bottom so dominate. I hope the cup race is like this it will be the best race of the year. The trucks have too many junk teams.

They were saying the trucks can run the bottom because of lower horsepower; that with the higher horsepower of the Cup cars the top is still dominant. But I'm more hopeful than I was this AM.

Was pleasantly surprised by the bottom groove in the truck race, Bristol with two grooves would be too much fun to watch!!

Another weekend we don't stand a chance. This is Gibbs race to lose. I have pretty much lost any interest in going to a race anywhere now. Shame cause I have some weekends off with races close by
