1 - I was responding to a response a couple hours before - on a MONDAY - so the "let it go" comment is lame. 2 - How I come across? Really? Because I question a decision like this BEFORE the race and it turns out that it was a poor decision? 3 - Look at the record of our OTHER chassis and you tell me how this one stacks us against it. The one they used was mediocre AT BEST in comparison. 4 - So, we shouldn't question anyone or anything at anytime? Are you one of THOSE people "well, they have the job, so they MUST know EVERYTHING and we should all just keep quiet and follow like good little lambs"? Sorry - I don't play that. 5 - The fact that you stated "You don't want to bring your absolute best car here" invalidates pretty much anything else you have to say. So, for the first race of the semi-finals of the Chase, you're cool bringing an inferior car? WOW, just WOW. Why, because you're that sure that we are a lock to win Phoenix? That's ridiculously ignorant. You get to this point and you try and bring your best car EVERY SINGLE WEEK. There are no "throw away" races at this point. At Dover or Talladega - of course - bring your worst shit. But in the first race of the semi-finals? That's just dumb. You're more than welcome to keep trying. You're only proving the points that I made. Actually - no. I kinda stuffed your snooty post back in your face. But whatever gets you through the night I suppose.

I think we are screwed. We don't have the raw speed we need to win these races right now. The last 2 wins were top 5 cars, but it took a late restart to make it happen. I will miss the Texas race entirely. I am going on a cruise. Also not to bring bad luck but the last time I went on a cruise Kevin ran 23rd at New Hampshire with the 29 car. Speed doesn't seem to be the primary issue to me. Handling from start to finish, keeping up with the track, strategy, fuel mileage, and pit crew are all more worrisome to me. That being said, I think these next 2 tracks are good tracks for us and we should have a chance to win either if we don't shoot ourselves in the foot.

You're more than welcome to keep trying. You're only proving the points that I made. Actually - no. I kinda stuffed your snooty post back in your face. But whatever gets you through the night I suppose. Let me ask you this: How do you know the results are in direct correlation of the chassis? You don't. It might very well be, but it could also be setup related as well. The chassis itself is not a bad one, obviously. It has led laps and has performed well at Martinsville on multiple occasions. The bad finishes are a result of bad strategy, poorly timed yellows with Kevin winding up on the outside in late race restarts, etc. They just can't seem to keep up with the racetrack as it rubbers up for whatever reason. Was the car bad on Sunday? Yeah. Was it fast at points? Yes. I'm just trying to get through to you that you can't just blame and point fingers at Rodney for bringing what you thought, in your not so expert opinion, the worst car they could ever bring. There's thousands of more variables that go into a racecar than just the chassis itself. You're entitled to your opinion, but don't place blame and point fingers, especially when you have no working knowledge of the subject. I don't know everything either, but I do know there's a lot more to it than what I know about. You need to know that as well.
