Away from Harvick, but still nascrap news. Has anyone else heard the reasoning why Edwards isn't running this year. No word from JGR yet. I could be totally wrong, but I would not rule out rehab.

Who was it about 4-5 years ago got busted and blamed it on Claritin-D ?
Granted there are otc drugs that can pop you for different things. Either you're taking a whole pack or bottle of something to make you pop (which you still have a problem) or you're taking something else ?

I got a chance to hang out with uncle Carl for a couple hours (when the big celebration was in NYC) and I would say he is the genuine article as far as decent fella,, pretty real--not a jerk ( cant say that for Kyle) His wife to be at the time was very nice as well (guess she was an olympic swimmer or something).
So maybe not your fav...not fake either.

Not a fake, maybe. I used to like him years ago, but after the Dega race when he went into the fence from keslowski that held his line and then in Atlanta he purposely but keslowski in the fence, he should have been charged with attempted murder imoo.
But according to the news conference, he's just moving on to persue others interest. See ya ...

Something smells off about this whole thing - he wants his last race to be where he wrecked out of his chance to win the championship?
I think there was either sponsor issues or Carlos Slim got involved, given Suarez is ending up in the car.

I think something is off as well, but I will say he might just be scared he will get hurt. Just the way this has came up makes no sense out the wild blue.

Who knows... maybe a couple of close calls...seeing what happened to junior....wife giving him a hard time....having more than enough $$$ to do what ever he wants...kids wanting a full time father...off season thoughts...
Imagine if you didnt have to deal with all the daily BS and you could just step away from your own job/stress and be fine in every way financially and otherwise...wouldnt you??

I dont know about that Rameye. I retired young and got bored really fast. Golfing and fishing got old. Ended up purchasing a small landscaping company and growing it. Guess i know what you mean but the old saying that "money isn't everything" is true. That said......I'll take the money and figure the rest out later.

I'm glad to hear you got out of the race young Russell.. I have 3 years to go, am so looking forward to it. Been fighting city fires for 30 years and there have been too many close calls....
Will be nice to be in my bed with the wife and not have to run out 5-6 times after midnight chasing alarms/fires/shootings you name it.
I dont think I'll be bored---I have way too many offers to work... But it will be on my terms!
I think I will be happy making egg sandwiches at the general store for minimum wage...lol

I'm right behind both of you, my house is on the market, just waiting on a buyer. Tired of the rat race. 22 yrs in the corps, Followed by 6 days a week the last 15. Gonna downsize, move to Florida, and flip small houses. Good luck and life to both of you.
