I'm sure most of you have heard by now that some of the higher ups at NASCAR are considering making the cars more quiet, simply for the fact that people can't socialize and talk to each other during the race.
I don't know about y'all, but the noise is part of the attraction for me. The roar, the rumble, the shaking of your chest as the cars fly by. What about you all?

Have never threatened to stop and give up on NASCAR, but if they do this I am gone. No question. It will be the straw that finally broken the camels back with me.

Maybe they can race Prius's. Fuel efficient, quiet and Toyota to boot. What more could one ask for?

I think Brian France placed a large bet on how quickly he can destroy NASCAR's existence. He's well on his way. Literally every single tweak he does makes me less and less interested in the sport. It's really quite remarkable how one man can single-handedly render me apathetic to something I used to look forward to and enjoy so very much not too long ago. I wasn't even that pissed that Kevin lost on Sunday - whereas I would have been fuming if that had happened under the old (REAL) rules/points system where it would have actually mattered that he lost.

Well if I wanted to socialize I would go to a sports bar and watch it.. When I pay to go to the races I expect to hear the loud roar of the engines that is what racing is all about.. I wonder how many times Brian France has rolled over in his grave..

I think you mean Bill France.......unless you are anticipating how many times he'll roll over in his grave AFTER old-school NASCAR fans put him there...

this idea makes me wanna go smack brian france until he wakes up. next year they will try to get rid of the cars altogether and make the drivers go around the track on roller skates.

I wonder how many times Brian France has rolled over in his grave.. unfortunately I don't think he's stop. He may slow down a bit like we do when a change doesn't happen in a month span. But then adds a twist when Brian adds 2 or 3 more changes the next month.
