Chassis Information - Chassis No. 4-1038: Kevin Harvick will pilot the No. 4 Jimmy John’s Ford Fusion built on Chassis No. 4-1038 in the O’Reilly Auto Parts 500 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race Sunday at Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth. Built new in 2017, Chassis No. 4-1038 will make its NASCAR Cup Series debut this weekend.
Here we go! A new chassis on a new track. Hopefully it's good!

Very interesting... Did they get their original chassis from HMS? Wonder if this will help solve their balance issues Kevin said they had during the Phoenix test. Did the penalty stem from adjusting their old chassis to accommodate the balance of the Ford body?

From what I read, NASCAR officials found an unapproved track bar slider assembly on the car. “Basically we got in trouble for a part that was drawn a certain way and didn’t appear that way on the car,” Harvick said. “The way NASCAR works now is you submit drawings of pretty much every part on your car and it has to meet those specifications and that part didn’t meet it.

The track is picked by up but the 4 car is junk. The aero balance looks horrible.
