Chassis Information - Chassis No. 4-899: Kevin Harvick will pilot the No. 4 Busch Light Ford Fusion built on Chassis No. 4-899 in the 400-mile Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race Sunday at Richmond (Va.) International Raceway. Built in 2014, Chassis No. 4-899 made its debut that September at Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet, Illinois, where it started sixth, led 79 laps and finished fifth. Since its debut, Chassis No. 4-899 has started on the front row three times, including twice from the pole position, and recorded four top-five finishes, six top-10s and led 686 laps through nine NASCAR Cup Series starts.
Another blast from the past 2014 chassis this weekend.

P6 isn't bad. We have to remember, Kevin's a top driver, for the most part, he'll qual 30 times in the top ten and grab a few poles. That's been his average the past few years. And the wins will come, he's never been lucky enough like other drivers to catch a late race caution in his favor, he's alway on the bad end of those. Even when the odds are, don't pit, a percentage of other drivers will stay out, and go figure, he ends up being stiffed. He's had to work for 99% of all his wins.

Anybody find it interesting that they let the 11 car get his position back after he lost power under caution? They didn't talk much about it on tv but Kevin and Timmy had a conversation about how bullshit it was that Nascar let them have their spot back. Seems to me that Ambrose got screwed at Sonoma now that they pick and choose who gets penalized.
Also I found it interesting that the best long run car, by a long shot, was also the car that drove the deepest into the corners. Physics would assume that he's the one abusing his tires and brakes he most out of anybody. Guess that scewed rear end was doing its job on the 2 car.

I have heard twice now that the 11 team was missing a lug... Nothing on NASCAR.com about it. But, I thought Kevins car was good... just not stellar. And he really got the shaft when Kyle and Logano went to the outside on him and stuck him in the middle. One of these days, someone needs to ride Busch up the track when he does that. I've seen Kevin lose more spots to those two in similar situations! There has been a lot of things this year that has made me go ...hmmmm!

There has been a lot of things this year that has made me go ...hmmmm! Why do we fault other drivers for racing? Kyle and Joey get paid to do the exact same thing that Kevin does, and that's to race. Why does everyone on here cry wolf when Kevin gets raced hard by another driver, and that he immediately should put said driver into the wall or spin him out? Do you really expect other drivers to move over and not try to meet the same objective that all 40 cars are trying to meet?

Do you really expect other drivers to move over and not try to meet the same objective that all 40 cars are trying to meet? Riding someone up the track and putting them in the wall are two different things. The KK&L show (KyleB , KyleL and Logano) all use the same tactics. Stick their nose in and get that driver to move a lane... Not sure what KB, KL and JL do to get the good runs they get during restarts. I have no doubt that Kevin had to stay low (not his preferred lane) because KB Kept him low... I loved watching Stenhouse Jr. race KB at Martinsville... KB was racing like he owned the place and Stenhouse Jr raced him just like he should... seem to remember it didn't turn out well for KB. So, when KB and JL do it, they get a pat on the back for racing hard and doing their job. When Kevin does it, he gets roasted. Makes no sense to me either.

Looking forward to Talladega for once - they were bad fast at Daytona. Another race where if something stupid doesn't happen this season looks a lot different.
