Chassis Information - Chassis No. 4-929: Kevin Harvick will pilot the No. 4 Busch Light Ford Fusion built on Chassis No. 4-929 in the Go Bowling 400 NASCAR Cup Series race Saturday night at Kansas Speedway in Kansas City. Built new in 2016, Chassis No. 4-929 made its Cup Series debut at Charlotte (N.C.) Motor Speedway in October, when it won the pole with lap of 27.547 seconds at 196.029 mph, led 12 laps, but failed to finish the race due to a mechanical issue. It made its second appearance in the 2016 season finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway, when it won a second consecutive pole with a lap of 30.399 seconds at 177.637 mph. In its only 2017 appearance to date at Atlanta Motor Speedway in March, Harvick won his third consecutive pole with chassis 4-929 with a lap of 29.118 seconds at 190.398 mph in the final round of qualifying. He went on to dominate the majority of the event, leading 292 of 325 laps before suffering a pit road penalty that led to a ninth-place finish.
We're bringing a stout car this weekend. Hopefully luck will change and be on our side this weekend!

Yep just watched it. 8th ain't bad, but then again he's mostly in the top 10. Congrats to Blaney, first career pole.

Car is really fast - sounds like Kevin over drove it in final round. Probably would have had the pole otherwise. Should have a good chance to win this week.

I thought that Nascar told the race winners they can no longer blow the rear tires doing victory burnouts. Looks like these teams are pushing the rules again to see what nascar will do. It was obvious at martinsville how much farther the 2 car could drive into the corner than everybody else. The 22 got caught swerving after the race also to reset the rear end. Kevin even said on his show that when they find something that is pushing the rules that they don't build it into all their cars. They pick and choose the best places to use said exploit. Making sure to not get caught where it doesn't matter. I've said it before and will say it again. Knaus has been doing this for years. The 48 will win 2-3 races at the beginning of the season and run like crap until the chase started. This was before they instituted the current chase rules where you win your in.

I've been saying it for a while - every team in the garage is cheating to an extent, some are just better at it than others. That's why I think it's hilarious when any fan of any driver cries wolf that another team is cheating after they got their butts handed to them. Take Kevin's cars in 2014 for example, or even the car at Dover in 2015. Those cars were cheated up beyond belief, but Rodney was really good at making them "Legal." The intelligence of the folks that work on these cars is unbelievable.
