Maybe just one named "general" for posts that don't seem to fit into the other categories. Depends on what all you want to let people post here, do you just want it to be all racing or maybe allow personal stuff?

I belong to another race forum here in these free forums and they have whats called "shoutbox" its a live chat.might be good for during the race.

I think i'd rather just have one list of threads like the old board did, not a bunch of separate sections to keep up with.

I know this board will take some time getting used to, but I think one of the biggest complaints about the old board was the lack of organization. Having to sift through posts you weren't interested in reading was a turn off to some of the first users when they started it last year. |

lets get a picture of THE car up top...would be cool Natedoggg and I had one up there for awhile, but due to different browsers, settings, formats, etc... It either looked good, or it looked like an elementary school project depending on your settings... We will continue to research options and hopefully come up with something. |

It would be cool if you could just skip to the last post you've read in a thread rather than starting at the top every time you open a thread. Overall the site is a great success!

I know this most likely isn't what you're looking for, but if you click on the "thread" from the main page, it will take you to the last post made on that topic... again, not a great resolution, but for a free site, we are limited as to most of the beneficial customization options. Another option would be to limit the amount of replies shown per page... that way you could jump to the "last" page of the topic and read from there... |
