now that it is obvious to the world and now has most fans talking about it,so what do we do?i haven't watched a race in a couple months and don't plan to the rest of the year. if ford had the "advantage" Toyota has or just the #18,then danica would be winning races. its one thing to allow this in the top series but to allow this in lower series is what is making this so obvious.it would be different if there was like 5-10 other top cup drivers every week in the trucks and x series cars racing against kyle but its just him racing for all them non cup series wins that they are all of a sudden counting as one for some "hes better than the king" . what we need to do is confront nascar and boycott the races until this stops. |

Tombo, I think a lot of people have already done something...like you, they have stoped watching! I know I have spent many more Sunday's on my boat then in the past. I have dvr'd a third of the races this year. In the previous years, I would only miss maybe 2 races a year. We're not the only ones losing interest! When Harvick goes, I seriously may be done. There are some new driver's with talent(Larson,Blaney,Elliott) but they're robots! No panashe, just silver spoons! |

I hear you... Not watching is the only course of action I have and joining the NASCAR Fan Council .... www.nascarfancouncil.com (Currently not taking new members...maybe in a couple of months!) Are they really listening to the fans? I think they listen to the questions they ask. I seriously doubt that the Fan Council has a say in the parity. I think NASCAR believes it thinks it knows what its doing. But, this is the problem... They keep messing it up and we're wonder if it will every be good again. |

Never new about a fan council. The path Nascar seems to be on isn't looking good though. I'm Curious on the ratings next year after JR. We'll see! Tombo, just hope for the best and try and stay positive! Get back to the good ole posts "WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!" Lmao! Always got a laugh out of that excitement. |

I remember when My wife and I did a track tour at Vegas... Driver of the van did not have kind words to say about the Busch Bros... Said that they were not very well liked locally.

You all have heard my old news, I just keep holding on hoping for a change backwards. We would do 6-8 races a year and never miss one live in tv. This year is 3 races and I think I've watched 3 or 4 live is all. And same hear, when Kevin is done, I maybe too |

Yet he doesn't see that he's part of the 20% that won't be watching next year... im gonna say 40% leave the sport when jr does.the last 25 years or so yes one driver has carried nascar,dale sr. did it until '01 and jr been keeping it alive with his billions of fans since.

It's sad to see the decline! It's even worse to see some of the changes Nascar has made to try and get better ratings or new fans. Has any of the changes been successful? I'm not knocking all of the changes, some I like. I like double file restarts! I dont like all the cookie cutter tracks! I dont think they need to go to a common template, it shouldn't be like the IROC series. Maybe they should have left things alone? Seems like since the COT car its been going down hill. I started watching racing with my dad when I was 14, I am 38 now. I haven't seen all that my dad has but...I do know that this stuff we're are watching this year isn't good racing! And NO...I dont have to see Harvick lead every race! If that was the case I wouldnt be a Harvick fan for 17 years only getting 3 great years out of that! I dont dislike Truex, but he didn't become a superstar this year by his talent. We have seen teams on hot streaks before, but this Toyota advantage is bigger than I thought at the beginning of the season. It's flat out ridiculous! The only people that don't see it must be Toyota/drivers fans. I dont know what the awnsers are to to fix/grow the sport, but I am losing interest.. When Harvick retires, I may only watch my favorite tracks. But then again they're effing those up too! Bristol now sucks they took a race from NH, Martinsville/Darlington/Richmond/Atlanta and of course the 500 may be it. |

On a more positive note! Im pretty damn proud of the 4 team this past weekend! They ran a great race and got what they could.
