Chassis Information - Chassis No. 4-899: Kevin Harvick will pilot the No. 4 Jimmy John’s Ford Fusion built on Chassis No. 4-899 in the 400-mile Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race Saturday night at Richmond (Va.) International Raceway. Built in 2014, Chassis No. 4-899 made its debut that September at Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet, Illinois, where it started sixth, led 79 laps and finished fifth. Since its debut, Chassis No. 4-899 has started on the front row three times, including twice from the pole position, and recorded six top-five finishes, eight top-10s and led 697 laps through 11 NASCAR Cup Series starts.
Last race before the playoffs. We're breaking out an oldie but a......an oldie for the race. Toyota 1,2,3,7,& 8 in the first practice. Nothing to see here. Harvick 9th. I smell a solid 6th-9th place finish this weekend! Woot! Much team building! Good for morale! Peaking just in time for the playoffs! More cliches!

LOL ... I know Xfinity doesn't draw a huge crowd. That attendance was pathetic. With all the space.. they could offer a first class service... Hot towel... a blanket and a pillow so you feel rested at the end. LOL!
Seriously... Brads comments about the rules that effected the Fords was interesting. He basically said that the aero rules (media didn't report on) really hurt the Fords... and they still haven't caught up.

I think Harv kinda summed up where we all knew they were at right now. Maybe they squeak through to the next round, but one bad race like they seem to always have in this round probably does them in.
“I wish we were in a better spot performance-wise. We’re just not running very good, and we have to figure out how to run better. Otherwise it’s going to be a short 10 weeks.”

Personally.. I don't think they can figure out how to run better this season. I believe they know where they are lacking and if its aero like Brad said... They are in a tight box. They can't fix it this season. With NASCARs template rules, I think they are stuck until NASCAR approves a new body. That is why Ford and Chevy teams are trying to find areas that produce more mechanical grip. If it was just the 4 car that was off, then I'd say that they could find away to run better... But ALL of the Fords are off... its a bigger issue than one team.
