but atleast they don't support anti-Americans like the nfl.... its crazy in our country we have "freedom of speech" but you cant call someone a name,like fag,the "n" word, tell a woman to get back in the kitchen ,tell a man to get a job,ect, but you do have "freedom of speech" to burn the flag and dishonor millions of soildiers,men and women,black and white by kneeling to the anthem.. id rather watch nascars rigged races than watch the nfl allow racist ani-Americans to continue disgracing our soldiers. this is America,you don't do that here.if you don't like it go to mexico,north korea and other places that also disrespects our flag,anthem,and our brave soldiers. too many good people have died for the rights for these overpaid would be inner city thug criminals to PLAY ball and kneel for support of black criminal rights.. so fudge the nfl and anyone who turns it on should be ashamed to be an anti-American supporter....

Well I wasn't gonna comment on any of it, but I'll give my 2 cents.
Yeah this country is definitely in a small turmoil right now. One thing about being in a free nation with free speech, rights, ECT.. You DO have the right to protest and yes you DO have the right to even burn the flag in protest. I personally don't agree with it, but again, it is not against the law. By law it falls under free speech.
However, I do believe there is a place for just about everything, and you should not be allowed to demonstrate or protest your personal feelings, beliefs, or morals at work. Yes football players and all others are being paid by the watchers. It is technically their jobs. (I like U2, I think they are a great band with excellent music, but will never pay to see them just to also hear Bono spill his political beliefs) you want to make a point in protest, fine, get a licence from whatever town square city you want to protest in and have at it. They are using the stadiums, arenas and knowing media coverage for it. This act should therefor be considered as anti American. One thing you won't see, these people giving up their rights or homes in this country by leaving. They don't (just like Barbara Streisand, Alec Baldwin, Ellen, Whoppie, Opera and the countless others) have the gonads to leave when they said they'll leave.
The owners are just as bad. I know there's got to be a few, four or five, you can't tell me that 26 (or however many there are) owners all agree with the way their players are acting. But none of them again have the gonads to say or do anything about it. Just like nascrap rules, the catch all, "actions detrimental to NASCAR racing" I don't know for sure, but would think they have something like it in their contacts.
It's a shame you can't call a co-worker a piece of s#!+ today when they are without getting yourself in more trouble then they deserve!!!

I like NFL stars when they are playing football!
I like NASCAR drivers when they are racing!
That is what I am buying when I go see a movie or sporting event. I guess I won't be buying any NFL/NBA tickets anytime soon! Wait... couldn't afford them anyway! LOL! Time to do a little protest myself... DVR it and FFWD the opening ceremonies and FFWD the commercials too!
I guess you'd like it if they had similar opinion... but let me tell you... its really hard when they go against your opinions...LIKE CHANGING TO FORDS!!!! LOL! Dang I still can't believe I root for Harvick after that!
All was right with the world...and then he goes off driving Fords and drinking Busch beer... next he'll start drink'n Pepsi...LOL!!!! I love all you Pepsi drink'n, Busch (beer) loving, Ford driving Harvick fans! LOL!

IMO --Athletes should keep their personal agenda out of the game..plenty of opportunities for stars to express their opinion after the game or beforehand.

They were expressing it before the game lol Personally, I think its what they are doing to protest that is incorrect. I did not say wrong. They have the right to their opinion... to protest. But if you have issues with anything, you protest that thing. Here we have a group that started as Black lives matters and is now protesting Trump. IMHO both are protesting the wrong thing!  This is the American flag... last I checked... it didn't belong to Trump or a political party or a even a local police department. It belongs to all of us... the people of the United States. It is a symbol of who and what we are! And one person does not define that! If these NFL player do not like the country they live in... But its not the country they are protesting... Let get this straight! When you protest the flag...your protesting the Country and THAT IS all the people that have worked... given their lives... to make it great!  This is the Canada Flag... I do believe they have a Football league too. Its the CFL. They could play there if they dislike our Country so much! But, I don't think the Canadians would take kindly to a bunch of CFL players disrespecting their flag too! If we could just figure out how to get Bieber back on their soil!  This is a Trump Logo... a pretty popular symbol for him. I'm pretty sure it belongs to Trump. You want to protest Trump... Go for it. Take a knee... Print it off and step on it... Surround the Trump Tower... Avoid his Casino... At least your protesting the right thing. |
