Well next up is Talladega. My Love/Hate track. We're leaving Thursday. I've watch Dale Sr (3 times) and Kevin (that dive under McMurrey when they tandem raced was awesome) and of course others win at this track. But I've also seen a lot of carnage too! Personally I think they should tear up Daytona and Dega and drop their bankings down to about 24 degrees, no plates needed because they'll have to break before the turns or throw themselves into the outside wall. These would be some awesome races. But no, we have to watch pack racing with little to no passing unless you have 5 other drivers helping you.
Kevin has as much chance as say Stenhouse does (oh, scratch that).
So I guess we can hope he stays up front (if his pit crew does half a good job) and gets a top ten.
Anyone else going, drive safe, I'll see you there and as always, I'll be top row, start/finish line wearing Kevin gear!!!

Yeah it did. 4th & 6th in practices. Headed to The Big One on the Blvd, hopefully Kevin will show up again.

How do you possibly write a script for this wreck fest. Even with a larger restrictor plate you have to finish this race.

Speechless... I could tell that the 4 was junk from the beginning. What did they do to that car? EVERY Ford was better than the 4. At the end, I hope Kevin just wanted to kill it. Make sure that that motor got a well deserved burial! I just can't believe that Kevin couldn't avoid that final wreck! It was like a slow motion deal.
SHR = Superspeedway Horrible Racecars --- I know... I Know! Just tired of Harvick wrecking out of these. Never his fault, but lately never seems to have the speed to do anything but run mid pack and get wrecked.
And one other thought... all of the wrecks came from those "driving over their head" young guns. The aggressive side drafting with the blocking makes for a recipe for what happened today... 5 cars running for a win! WAAHOO
