I am a little surprised they are not using the Texas chassis, but this one dominated Atlanta and was good at Homestead last year.

He was fine in the first two rounds, car was loose af in that last run. Surprised he didn’t wreck it.

Came back long enough just to say "great job Rodney" - awesome time management sending him out without enough time and wasting a tire cycle. Not that it matters - it's Toyota, Toyota, Toyota, Toyota anyway, just as NASCAR wants.

They got tooled by everybody they're racing, have the worst pit selection and put an unnecessary extra lap on the tires because the crew chief is already in momo mode. It's disappointing all around.

Kevin didn't run the last lap. I'll stand behind Rodney and Kevin anyday. You're acting like they were punked. They weren't.

I mean they kinda did. They were .15 off the Toyotas in practice and then 3-4 tenths off the entirety of qualifying. They got their butts kicked.
The good thing is it's Friday and not Sunday.

Correction, he was only about a tenth off the 78 in round 2. As much as I'm not happy with the way it turned out, ninth is better than twelfth or wrecking and going to a backup and starting at the rear.
