Since nobody else has posted since Sunday
-First off, the car was a lot better than I was anticipating during the race. Apparently it was too loose to run the top and that's why he was glued to the bottom. Unfortunate cause obviously the guys who could run that line were faster, but still a yeoman's effort by the team.
-The season as a whole was much better than I anticipated. Two wins, and it easily could have been five or six had circumstances worked out better. Scratching Texas and Sonoma off the list of tracks Harv hadn't won at was awesome.
-Under this system, you can't ask for more than to have a chance in that final race, and we've had one three out of four years. If Kyle doesn't get woah'ed down on that one stop and clobbers the water barrels or Truex had an issue, we'd have been celebrating, and that's the good and the bad of this system.
-One thought about 2018, I'm worried that Ford is falling behind by not designing a new body for 2018 like Brad K. said. If Chevy has the same aero advantage Toyota does, we're up shit creek without a paddle.
-Hope everybody has a blessed holiday season. Thanks as always for a fun season in the little group of diehards here.

Right on Greg. Car was decent on Sunday, but seemed like they banked on the bottom lane prevailing. Either way they had a shot😁 They ended up doing a great job this year with all the changes they had to overcome! I think they'll build off this, and be better next year. We're lucky fans to have one of the best driver/crew chief duo's in the garage!
It's funny, I felt the same way when I heard Chevy was coming out with their new car. Hopefully Ford doesn't fall behind! I think that stuff always worries us because we know what our driver is capable of winning and doing when he has competitive equipment. Finally the whole garage gives him the respect he deserves too!
Ditto, Happy Holidays to all!!

Even with all of the changes I am still a die hard fan. Even with the switch to ford, SHR managed to get two drivers into the playoffs. Would be sweet to see a win (again) in Daytona to start off next year. They are getting a couple months of well deserved break and will come back stronger than ever. Happy Holidays everyone and see ya in the spring.

I've got to admit that I am getting alot more accomplished now that I am not watching practice, qualifying and the race. Haven't watched any of the Champion week programming this year for the first time. Hope my wife doesnt get use to the yard looking good. Happy Holidays.
