Well, I usually put the pre-race info up, but I guess they're not going to post them this year. It's too bad, it was nice to know what chassis they were running every week. I haven't enjoyed any of the changes they've made over at Kevin's site the past few years, losing the forum, no fan club, and less info. Oh well. Onto the race!
The car looked pretty good in the Duel. I think Kevin could've challenged for the win but played it smart and kept the car in one piece. It looks like handling will play a big role in the race so kudos to Rodney for bringing a decent handling car (at least that's what I read in the Clash thread).
Good luck 4 team!

They haven't done any kind of pre-race PR for the 4 car (the 3 other teams all did), so that's really weird.

One thing I miss about the RCR days is the updates they gave on Twitter during practice, etc. I felt like that's really slipped with SHR. Now that you mention that about the other 3 teams maybe it's intentional.

It's weird to me to not want to draw fans to your site where you sell die-casts and souvenirs and memberships and instead turn them away. I don't think they interact on Facebook or any other social media outlets and you're right, once Jill started is when that all changed (coincidence or not).

I'm just thankful this board was created and we still have some of the original members here! Wish we had all the members that signed up here active like the old boards were. I've always enjoyed reading everyone's opinions and views! I appreciate your efforts Brandon, trying to give us as much info as possible on our driver.

I've always enjoyed reading everyone's opinions and views! I appreciate your efforts Brandon, trying to give us as much info as possible on our driver. I would love to blame Jill for the demise of the fan club and the board etc... I really dont know if she is totally responsible. You gotta figure Kevin and D know whats goin on-- they are the decision makers-- maybe they are getting some bad info however.... If you care, call into the show, send them a letter, etc. I got in a pissing contest with Jill over meet and greets as they started phasing them out. (especially in new hampshire) Her comment to me was basically that nobody is showing up for them..My reply was BS!! As I stood in line with a ton of folks for every one of them.... no lack of people what so ever!!! Dont even know what she was talking about. Truth is Kevin spoiled us--with access to our favorite driver! Bring back Cindy! see correspondence below from miss jill Hi Tom – Unfortunately, with Kevin’s obligations in 2017, we will only be able to host the two fan club events in 2017. Also, we didn’t have the best response/turnout when we hosted the last event at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, which is why we have decided not to go back in the last two years. Hope that helps you understand how we decide which tracks to host events at. Jill Jill Frischmann

I used to go there for the practice times and tv info, now they don't have any of that either, seems like someone is dropping the ball, the chasis numbers were nice to know. I asked Jill to include them in the pre-race reports because SHR didn't list them. Does Jill still run KevinHarvick.com?

I don't know how to take Jill myself. She helped me on getting friends into a meet and greet, yet seems to blame everything that has gone by the wayside on lack of fan support. Ie. she said the other fan site had to close down for lack of participation and everyone was turning to Facebook and Twitter. I to call b.s. I don't have either. We haven't a quarter of members here yet it's enough to keep us going. So I'll also plug a thanks to Brandon and Rameye for what you two do in keeping this site up and the info (or lack thereof with limited info coming out of shr this year lol) For the couple of new joiners already this year. Please stay on, bring your friends and give your inputs. I need to read them, I'm tired of arguing with myself.

I looked on her facebook page and it says she quit KHI at the end of 2017, maybe no one is running the site???
