i think I have both today after the accident yesterday.to know he had the fastest car, even faster than truex and to lose the streak the way he did was the it was the gut punch.it was awesome to watch kevin win 3 in a row but the fact he didn't get 4 is the heart break. he was going to win the Daytona 500 and he could had easily won yesterday so knowing how fast he has been assures me there may be more "in a rows" coming and a lot more wins.... one good thing yesterday was that kyle busch didn't win, that would have been a kick in the nuts.....

More heartbreak... This is how I'm looking at it. I think Harvick had the best car overall (not the fastest but the best)... He was gaining up to the point of the first pit. Towards the end of that first run, he had equal lap times as the leader... Even though he felt the 78 and 18 had better long-run speed, I didn't see it. Kyle L. was all short-run speed. I think Kyle L. was using his stuff up trying to get past Kevin. Kinda like Denny did in Phoenix. I also think that going for 4 played a huge part. I only saw one other time where a driver got another driver loose and then did a side draft job and that was MT vs KB toward the end of the race. Kyle L was trying to prove something. This would have felt more like a gut punch if it was the 4 team and the wrong adjustment had been made in the final laps, Like KB's team... Would have really hurt to have Kyle L hoist that trophy only because I felt that Kevin would have been better over the entire race... BUT we'll never know! Woulda Coulda Shoulda!
IMHO... Kyle L. won't be a major threat unless he starts diagnosing the car better. He'll have his fast tracks ... But with this new Chevy, he won't be a major threat until the entire Chevy camp figures the car out. He relies too much on the Crew Chief/Car Chief... He can take a 1st place car to 1st place, but he struggles to get a 5th place car to 1st.

HEARTBREAK!I felt bad for him and his team too! Everyone knows he had a car capable of winning. He made a mistake, he knows it and he owned it! That's very respectable to me. Now they need to bury it and move on!
What this TEAM is doing is incredible! 3 out of 5 races! They need to keep their heads up and go kick some ass at Martinsvilleš4

So far this year we've been basically wreckers or taking the checkers--- hell I'm cool with that! I can handle this all year round!

So far this year we've been basically wreckers or taking the checkers--- hell I'm cool with that! I can handle this all year round! Love it! That still holds true!!!! The nice thing about this... he's pretty much a lock for the championship ... the shop can focus on improvements (hopefully stop repairing cars). Don't get me wrong. I still want the 4 team to win every week. It would also be nice to get a few more SHR guys in the playoffs.

So far this year we've been basically wreckers or taking the checkers--- hell I'm cool with that! I can handle this all year round! 1st or wrecked and that is what this point system is set up for too so it could work.......lets see 26 races ,3 out every 5 is a win ill take that....that's like 15 or 16 wins and that's before the 10 chase races so there is 6 more wins to add so that will be 21 or 22 races he could win at this rate......
