Like the title simply says, who are you?
I thought it would be fun to have a thread where we could all make a more formal introduction about ourselves. All of us share a common bond in that we are huge Harvick fans, but what else makes us who we are?
Me, for starters:
Location: North Alabama Profession: Contracts Administrator for a DoD/Aerospace contractor Hobbies: Building computers, gaming, watching sports and going to games/races (Huge Alabama basketball and Atlanta Braves fan) 1st race: 1998 Winston 500 at Talladega Reason for being a fan: Dad got me into racing when I was growing up in the 90s. He and I were Dale Earnhardt fans. Once Kevin won that race at Atlanta in 2001, I instantly became a fan.

Location: Idaho (Boise Area) Profession: Software Developer (Ag Industry) Hobbies: RC Buggies / Gaming (Owned every Papyrus game they produced...) / Camping / Family 1st race (and Only): 2001 Dover spring race Reason for being a fan: Huge Dale Sr fan … was sad not to be able to see him in person@ Dover. Went to the race rooting for Steve Park, left as a Kevin Harvick fan. Cool Fact: Member of Hol'ers Chain Gang … On a trip to NC, Wife and Kids stopped a KHI and stopped at the gift store. Harvick was getting fans and drivers at the tracks to get a picture with this huge gaudy chain neckless with a huge $ on it.. The neckless was at the KHI when I was there. The camera we had was stolen on that trip so no proof. Bought a Flaming Smiley face sticker and as we were talking to the receptionist, my daughter peeled the sticker and slapped it on my chest. Receptionist got us a couple of new ones as we all had a good laugh!

Location: Gainesville area, Florida. But an upstate New Yorker for sure. Profession: 22 yrs Marine Retired. Half retired and working for ADT Home Security. Hobbies: Used to be big time NASCAR, 103 races and counting. Doing, building and tinkering anything around the house. Now it's all about Teri and I traveling anywhere around our country (six states to go) on our Harley Tri Glide Ultra. 1st Race: Rockingham, spring 95. Won tickets on the radio. After the race, Dale Sr pushed me (and a lot of others) out of the way as he was headed down the hill towards his helo. Known facts: (Haven't watched a football game in 2 years and counting.) Was watching a race in 93 or 94 at my friends house, he was a Rusty fan. I knew nothing of the sport. He kept cussing "Dale and his damn black number 3" I started rooting for him by the end of the race just to rub it in. It stuck. Went to the 6 previous 500 before Dale passed, didn't go that year, I had to drive back to Virginia for work Monday. The following week I became a Haarrrvvick fan thru and thru.

Location: Central Texas (grew up in Virginia, but got to Texas as fast as I could) Profession: Police Officer Hobbies: Road trips - wife and I have driven to 48 states and DC. Even our dog has been to 26 states! Our longest trip was over 7600 miles! I can't wait for the chance to drive to Alaska. Also play guitar, piano, and drums 1st race: Martinsville Truck race in 2005 Reason for being a fan: Dad got me a die cast nascar back when I was 6. Watched it off and on as a kid, but really got into it in 2001. Ironically, I was a Michael Waltrip fan up until he won the 01 Daytona 500. I still remember seeing Kevin's Rockingham car in the newspaper the week after Dale died. Kevin caught my interest then, and I was hooked after Atlanta!
